Chrysalis Adaptive Supply is a up and coming small business based in Pflugerville, Texas. Our aim is to provide the central Texas community with a judgement free shopping experience where customers of all ages can test out tools and supports that can help them live an independent life full of joy and dignity. The eventual goal is to open a physical storefront to carry all types of equipment such as sensory tools, self-help and Socio-emotional learning books, as well as adaptive clothing options.

For the time being, we have shifted to selling food grade, BPA free silicone jewelry, aimed at being beautiful as well as a possible outlet for sensory needs. Please consider supporting us as we continue to grow towards our larger goals, and Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us!
About
Chrysalis Adaptive Supply was born out of a need I saw when I was a Special Education Teacher. I would look for tools that my students needed, and had trouble finding reputable vendors, it would take forever to be shipped, and then my student might not even like it! I realized that if I am having these troubles, even with my education and experience, how much more difficult it must be for students and their parents?

I wanted to create a space that the disabled community will feel safe to come try these tools and supports in a physical way and see what works best for them.

The name was inspired by a girl that I grew up with back in Michigan named Ashley. Ashley lived next door to my Grandmother, and they were best friends. Ashley had various mobility and motor issues, but I will always remember her smile when she was laughing with Grandma. Ashley loved butterflies, and she and her mother would have a butterfly growing station every year that I would love to go visit. Ashley unfortunately passed away years ago, but knowing her made a profound impact on my life and the paths that I have chosen.
My best friend helped me choose the name 'Chrysalis' in honor of Ashley, since the chrysalis is what the caterpillar uses to help them change and grow.
